St. Nersess Online New Offerings
St. Nersess Online is an extension of St. Nersess Armenian Seminary! It offers Armenian Christian education through online lectures and courses, recorded presentations, certification programs, seminars, and workshops. St. Nersess Online is designed to further enrich and equip our clergy, lay ministers, and the public.
For many years, St. Nersess Seminary has aspired to extend its reach beyond the seminary campus. St. Nersess Online now makes that vision a reality — offering learning opportunities to a wider audience, on a greater variety of topics, and in more flexible formats than ever before.
Our Programs
Our Clergy Continuing Education (Master Classes in Ministry) provide opportunities for clergy to refresh, renew and grow their skills for sustainable ministry. This includes our St. Nersess Preaching Program and Karoz platform.
Our Lay Ministry Trainings offer pathways to service and leadership for people passionate about teaching and supporting our faith communities.
Our Public Courses open windows for anyone interested in learning more about Scripture, Liturgy, History and Tradition from an Armenian perspective.
Public Learning and New Training Initiatives
The Seminary’s Public Courses webpage now hosts free recordings of lectures on topics such as Art & Architecture, Biblical Studies, the Church Fathers, Church History & Thought, Contemporary Issues, Liturgy & Worship, and Saints & Martyrs. These resources invite the wider public to explore the rich theological and cultural heritage of the Armenian Church.
Coming soon: new online training modules will prepare summer conference counselors to lead Bible discussions during the Deacons’ Training Program, High School Summer Conferences, and Youth Training Workshop — further expanding the seminary’s educational mission.
