New Karoz for Clergy
Clergy of the Eastern and Western Dioceses of the Armenian Church in America now have access to Karoz, an expanding collection of online homilies translated from classical and medieval Armenian fathers. These resources are available on the newly launched online Preaching Program website. Karoz will soon be updated with another season of translated sermons, which were notably beneficial to clergy during the Lenten season.
“Although technology and social movements over the centuries may obscure or complicate our various problems and challenges, the sermons written since the early church remind us that humanity has always faced these issues in one form or another,” shares Fr. Avedis Kalayjian, pastor of St. Mesrob Armenian Church in Racine, WI. “God is and has always been the answer.”
St. Nersess warmly invites clergy to explore its Online Preaching Program. This initiative aims to provide valuable resources to clergy to enhance and deepen their preaching experience, combining traditional Armenian homiletic methods with modern preaching tools.
Two new workshops will be offered soon: a workshop in the Midwest in June and in Northern CA in July. These latest resources will be posted on the website as modules after completion.
